Will the REAL Abigail Deveraux please stand up?

Alright.. stop.... hold on. Get off the ledge! Put the pitch forks and the torches back in the barn. Put that gun up!



I have to admit, when I read the SOD article I was extremely.... oh what's the word? PISSED!

Yeah that's it. But I have had a few hours to calm down and think about this.

I mean, does this really come as any surprise to anyone? Nah... we all saw that awesome youtube clip for the audition of Abigail. Thank goodness that lovely young lady didn't get the part right?

I am tired of the Jack bashing. TPTB think that they are going to get the fans to turn on Jack. Well, I have something to tell them. That isn't going to happen. If anything, this is going to make the fans even more angry. Abigail and Jack have a special father/daughter relationship. Kate Mansi is not starting off on the right foot. Now really, this isn't her fault. She has a job to do, and she is going to be playing the part of a character. But at this point I don't like her. I guess it isn't fair to her, but oh well.

We all know our characters, and frankly, these people are not them. I am not sure where Jennifer Rose Horton Deveraux is, but it isn't in Salem. Not sure where Abigail Deveraux is either, but that sure isn't her.

Maybe all of the Deveraux's are locked away somewhere waiting to be freed. I hope so.

I don't know if we will get Matt back. I don't know what the future will bring. I wish I did. But I know one thing, this isn't right. I know there are tons of fans out there who want Matthew Ashford back as Jack Deveraux. I need everyone's help. We have to keep going with our campaign. We have to push harder for what we want. This is OUR favorite show. We are the FANS. We are those ones who make sure that the DVR records it everyday. We invest our time reading spoilers, replays and posting on message boards. We need to be heard. We need to be taken seriously.

We have come together because we all share a passion (no pun intended). The writers are trying to do us wrong. The producers are trying to do us wrong.

Are we going to take it?

Are we going to sit quietly?

Hell no! I am not. This is why I started all of this. I want my voice heard. I know that you do too.

It is time to stand up and be counted! It is time to UNLEASH THE FURY!

I Want to help but where do I write to?

Jack is a firm believer that the pen is mightier than the sword. Now, I know as much as we would all like to storm NBC studios and demand Matt back, we can't do that. So a more peaceful approach, is the old time idea of writing a letter.

You know, the kinda you have to mail with a stamp? ;)  

So I have some contact information for you. Write a letter to all of them if you want, or just the head powers that be.

Be sure to mention Matthew Ashford a lot in the letter. Do not mention any other characters. Just Matthew Ashford and Jack Deveraux. It will be ok to mention the chemistry between Matt and Melissa Reeves to.

You can even writer letters to Missy, just be sure to mention Matt a lot in the letter.


We need letters to come in from all over the US and even from different countires. I know that we have followers in Canada, England, Switzerland, Sweden, Germany, and other countries. If I missed your home country I apologize, please let me know I will give you a shout out.
